FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Of Course!!!! Photography is not an area that I think anyone will ever know EVERYTHING about. I am always learning new things, new techniques, and new ways to do things. I never get bored, and I always strive to push myself harder as I continue to to grow as a professional.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Ever since I can remember I have always had a love for photography. I have always felt fulfilled and alive setting myself free in the "wild" with a camera, in any type of environment, setting and moment. I see the ordinary in the most extraordinary of ways, no matter how small it may be. My husband and I decided to take a huge leap of faith, and with it, came the motivation and will to start a new career path, and one that I have taken over with leaps and bounds. Photography is not just an occupation for me, it is simply my lifestyle.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Hi, thanks for stopping by! I'm Heather, Owner & Professional Photographer of Retro Peacock Photography. ÂRetro P is based in Eastern Tennessee, close to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Gatlinburg, Sevierville, and Pigeon Forge areas. I was born and raised in Akron, Ohio (Home of the Goodyear Blimp) and moved to the Sevierville, Tennessee area with my awesome partner in crime, and our two very wonderful and, very rambunctious boys. I then officially turned my lifelong passion and love of photography into my career  the rest is history! My style of photography is very offbeat, creative, and funky fresh. I really tend to focus on the easily missed moments, and capture them when they are the least expected! Those moments will stand still in time, and speak a thousand and one words for a lifetime. I love that! Retro Peacock Photography specializes in artistic, photojournalistic photography, with a personal touch. I am here to make your special day, be it wedding, maternity, graduation - and other exciting events life comes with - a spectacular day worth a thousand words!
