Introduction: I love the variety of projects I get to work on. One day I might be designing a logo or business card. The next day I am designing a website. Each project requires a slightly different skill set so it keeps it from getting monotonous.

Larissa Barbee is very professional and really worked with me to provide the web site I wanted. I love her web site design with its slide show demonstrating examples of my work. It has certainly increased my business and I would highly recommend her to anyone

I recently had Larissa at Creative Express design business cards for our business. In addition to being a pleasure to work with, she was very creative and delivered the product in a timely manner. We were very pleased with the service we received.

I have known her a number of years and she has done several projects for me. I have been thrilled each time because the turnaround time is so short and the quality of work is always fantastic. Her prices are very competitive and I have always enjoyed working with her. Next project will begin 10/11. I would highly recommend her.

"Your business card is your first brochure" and Larissa developed the perfect first-impression business card to market our innovative products. Her added value is the depth and breadth of her marketing knowledge.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Absolutely. In this industry, you have to stay on top of the ever-changing technology. I don't have the time to actually go back to school but I have discovered a great online resource with an extensive library of tutorials to further my knowledge.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

It arose out of a childhood love to draw, color, cut and paste. I loved to take my mom's magazines and cut them to pieces and then reassemble them into my own design. My job today is similar. I take my client's information and cut and paste and manipulate it into a "work of art." I get immense satisfaction out of producing a great design.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Don't settle for the first designer you encounter. Do your homework...look for reviews, seek samples of work, view the designer's website. Finally, have a conversation, whether by phone or face to face with the designer to see if they are a good fit for you. You want to work with someone who you are comfortable conversing with.
