Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. I pride myself on being available to my clients offering prompt responses and top notch service. What do I wish customers knew about this profession?, Just how challenging it can be to bring a buyer and a seller together and iron out all of the wrinkles.
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. I started in this business several years ago as an investor. I felt that investing in rental properties would make for a great retirement plan that would pay me passive income for years to come. The more homes I purchased, the more I fell in love with the idea of helping others do the same, so after almost 20 years of being a professional chef and restaurant owner, I hung up my apron and went to real estate school. It has been an exciting journey.
Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?
A. Continuing education is required of all real estate professionals. We must have a minimum of 16 hours of training every 24 months.
Q. What is your greatest strength?
A. My greatest strength is patience and my ability to keep everyone calm and on track when we encounter bumps in the roads. Real estate transactions are often problematic and you've got to keep your cool to get to the finish line. Clients often feel personally attacked and it's my job to remind them that it's just business. I am also a very good negotiator and most often can get my clients what they desire.
