As an experienced public speaker and wedding Officiant, I will work with you to write your ceremony based on your personalities and what you tell me you want...whether you want a big, dream wedding, an intimate elopement for "just the two of you" or anything in between. Chaplain Patterson and his wife met us a few weeks before our wedding date. He asked us a bunch of questions in hopes of getting to us as people rather than just the next paying client. These questions included details such as who's walking the bride down the aisle, is there any other thing you'd like to include, etc. but also included questions on how we met and our story as a couple. Closer to the wedding he sent us the ceremony he planned on reading with the option to include/exclude anything we wanted. My husband and I read it together and we found that we were very moved by the ceremony. He included details about how we met, and a funny story we had told him about. Just reading the ceremony finally made it feel REAL, not just like a dream. The day of the wedding I was running behind on being ready to walk down the aisle. He took care of finalizing all the details like talking to my dad about how to give my hand to my husband, and talked to the both of us on when to hand over the flowers etc. He never ONCE complained or rushed me despite not being ready on time. His wife took pictures of us upon our request ahead of time. The ceremony had everyone in tears (of joy of course), and I'm so very pleased with how everything turned out.
We had Mrs. Patterson take our wedding pictures since we didn't have a photographer lined up. While they "are not in the business" of taking pictures as they many times emphasized, we were very pleased with her photographic skills.
I would recommend Chaplain Patterson to everyone! Thanks so much for making our day special!

Chaplain Patterson was absolutely wonderful to work with! He was very professional and well spoken before and during our wedding ceremony. We were comfortable with him from start to finish! His words were very touching and he truly made it a beautiful ceremony for us. I would highly recommend hiring Mr. Patterson!
