The cost of a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy, in most cases, is $600.00 attorney fee of which no less than $400.00 must be paid prior to the filing of the case, with the $200.00 balance due approximately one (1) month after the filing. The court costs are $299.00 and must be paid within four (4) months of the filing of the case. There are two required counselings, one prior to filing and the other prior to discharge. The costs vary by providers, but are available for approximately $30.00 each.
