Her passion for filming was fueled by the loss of her father. She often states, "It's comforting having the memory of him, his face, love and laughter on videotape. Though I have not found the strength and courage to watch any of them lol, I love the fact that the footage is there whenever I may need it."

I hired Daphane as Director of Photography for my first television show and I felt comfortable from our first meeting that I made the right decision. She asked the right questions and wanted to connect with the piece rather than just pointing a camera at it. We met numerous times before the shoo and planned each scene carefully. The actual shoot was over two days and we basically shot the entire pilot episode. I could not be more pleased with her professionalism and punctuality, and the quality of the work was simply amazing. I would definitely recommend BluDream Productions to anyone who wants more than a videographer, but rather a partner to help bring your vision to life.

My name is Brenton Wilburn. I , along with members of my record label, did a photo shoot with Ms. Daphane Handy awhile back and the experience was superb! The photo shoot was held at the rooftop of a mall parking garage, with the owner's permission of course, and everything went very smoothly. The experience as a whole was on point, from the photographer's timing to her directing the photo shoot. Everything about the photo shoot was completely professional. And the aftermath (photos) were even BETTER! Everything about the portfolio, from the editing to the great quality, were EXCELLENT! And what I really love is that the portfolio was delivered on time....actually earlier before the scheduled time. Like I said before, the experience with Ms. Daphane Handy, as a whole, was superb and we also had fun during it. I will definitely be working with Ms. Handy again very soon and I will also spread the word about her company!
