- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing for our service needs to be done by phone consultation or home visit. We are happy to provide free estimates. Pricing involves size of lawn, difficulty, and travel.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to start Lawns by Ladies in October 2011. For many years I had been mowing lawns on the weekends for extra money to support myself and my 2 children. I was also unhappy at my regular full time job and wanted to find something I loved to do and would look forward to working every day. Me and my best friend were at a pumpkin patch, Halloween 2011, with our kids and we started discussing different business ideas. This is when we decided to start the business.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common types of jobs that we do include mowing, bed-cleaning, mulching, weed-eating, de-weeding, raking, and gutter cleaning. We are working to expand our business by offering more landscaping services.
