Introduction: I truly believe that I can teach anyone how to play the piano! My specialty is helping students read music well, but I also love teaching how to chord and improvise.
I use popular music of all styles, along with method books that are appropriate for the age and ability of each student. My experience as a church musician, band member, singer, songwriter, and accompanist allows me to know how to teach "real life" theory.
After teaching hundreds of children for years, I will admit that I am especially enjoying my adult student lessons right now. They would tell you that their lessons are fun, too! Seniors age 62+ receive a 50% discount!

I am an an adult student, I was intimidated by taking lessons so late in life. Jana makes piano fun and challenging. Explaining music in a practical way. It is so important to keep learning new things, and she makes it easy...... even theory! Jana is a kind and caring person person, I couldn't imagine finding a better teacher.

We are blessed to have the priviledge of being able to listen to the "beautiful" music that Jana plays and the "lovely" singing she does along with it.
Her musical abilities makes our Sunday Service complete. We are so thankful to have her and the God given talents she shares with us.
