- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For smaller projects, I have a list of flat-rate pricing. Larger projects are usually quoted at an hourly rate. I will try to estimate how many hours before the start of the project, if possible. I make this determination on a case-by-case basis.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get as much information about the project and its purpose as possible. I also like the client to have a clear, concise understanding of the process, the fees, and the timeframe. I prefer to start with a discovery call, and then we can have further communications via email. I set reasonable goals after I've obtained any logos, photos, or copy from the client. I may ask a lot of questions depending on the scope of the project. I believe good communication is key when working with a client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a certification in commercial arts. I have an associates in applied science with a concentration in advertising, Then I acquired another associate in applied science for graphic design. I do continued training on software and study the latest design trends and marketing strategies. I have over 30 years of experience.
