    We recently moved into our new home, and I was having a difficult time arranging furniture with the new layout. Holly came and helped so much. She walked with me through my entire house and gave very good suggestions on furniture placement, art and accessory ideas. She did exactly what I needed, and Holly's suggestions have turned out great and my house is starting to come together.

    Holly was a joy to work with from the very first visit to putting all the finishing touches on my "special room"! Holly seems to have the ability to figure out just what you need as the customer and adapt her style and approach to your needs. You can't ask for anything better than that!

    I had a very challenging need to take an open two room space and create a small social area for my grown children and friends (but classy enough as it's at the main entryway of my home), a work space for me and a family dining area for my fairly large extended family at least twice a month. And of course I needed to do this all on a budget and have it done in 4 weeks in time for Christmas!

    We succeeded together as Holly drew out a vision for the space, shopped with me at a few different places and picked out lots of pictures online for me to choose from. We got everything in on time and the room looked absolutely beautiful for the holidays.

    My husband and I recently purchased a home in Frisco, TX and since we traveled overseas at the time we finalized the purchase, we knew that we needed help furnishing and decorating the home while we were away. After interviewing many designers over the phone and e-mail, we decided to ask Ms. Holly for assistance because she seemed very attentive from the beginning, answering all of our questions and replying to our emails in a timely manner. Ms. Holly did a great job by asking us numerous questions to figure out our individual style, taste, and our overall expectation for the project. During the following months, she constantly communicated with us over email and phone. She sent us furniture catalogs, pictures, color combinations, fabrics, etc., to help us choose the right pieces for our home. When we finally returned to the United States to see the home for the very first time, Ms. Holly met us at the home with a huge smile. Prior to walking into the home, we were so excited and so nervous at the same time, not knowing what to expect since we never saw the items we picked out in person. Let me tell you, my husband and I always have very high expectations whenever we engage ourselves in any project, but when we walked into the home, we were absolutely blown away. There are no words to describe how beautiful, elegant, and sophisticated our home looked. The kids were fascinated with the way she decorated their individual rooms, and donít let me get started about the guest room and the masterís bedroom; they both looked like something you find at a 7 star hotel, multiplied by 10. Everything looked as if it was custom made. All the pieces fit perfectly in every space and the color combination and art decor were out of this world. Ms. Holly was even kind enough to bring cake and wine for us since she knew it was my husbandís birthday the day we returned! And thatís not all; not only did she furnished and decorated the entire home, but she even purchased our kitchen items, helped care for our lawn and the sprinkler system, and sent us our mail while we were overseas. Needless to say, we got everything we asked for and more for a fraction of the price. Ms. Holly was an absolute joy to work with; she went above and beyond our wildest expectations. Not only did we find an amazing designer, but we also made a great friend in the process. We highly recommend her for all your interior decorating needs.

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. The most common types of jobs we conduct are:

-Home selling consultations: This service includes suggestions for curb appeal, paint color, furniture placement, and storage solutions. This service is for savvy sellers who don't want to sell the competition!

-Paint color selection: The best color for your walls to either calm, energize, or help you focus (or maybe have a little fun). What feeling do you want to achieve in your room? I will help you achieve this and make sure the floors and furniture all coordinate, too!

-Furniture selection: The best furniture fits the space, is comfortable and expresses your unique style and has your neighbors raving!

-Art and accessory placement: How high is too high? Not sure how or where to hang your art? No problem, I hang art all the time, except for the kind that's really heavy, then I call for help and tell the guys where to hang it!

-Interior Redesign: When you have great furniture but something just isn't right and your room needs a little shift here and a little tweak there. My clients love this simple, effective and inexpensive service.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. If you are looking for a home stager make sure you ask the following:
Do you carry business insurance?
How long have you been in business?
Do you belong to a trade organization?
Is this your full time job?

Home stagers and decorators who carry insurance, have been in business for two or more years and who belong to a trade organization such as the Real Estate Staging Association are serious and understand what it takes to run a successful business. You want a stager or decorator who focuses their attention on their job full time and is not a hobbyist.

A. I enjoy helping my clients achieve their goals whether that be selling their home quickly or creating the house of their dreams.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. I worked with clients whose home had been on the market for 1 year. They had worked with three real estate agents and two stagers before working with me. I helped them stage every room in their home and suggested painting two rooms. Their home went under contract within the month after we worked together!
