I work as a DIY skin care formulator at From Nature With Love, and author their popular natural skin care blog, The Natural Beauty Workshop. I've had the pleasure of teaching workshops on skin care and soap making at Etsy.com and From Nature With Love, as well as privately for social groups and craft groups. Though my knowledge on the subject is extensive, I focus on beginner's workshops, providing students with hands-on instruction, as they create projects using my own tried and true recipes.

I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience in the field of DIY skin care and soap making. I can provide one-on-one instruction, or workshops for up to ten students at once. Some of my favorite classes include:

* Bath & Body 101: Beginner's class for melt and pour soaps, lip balms, and sugar scrubs
* Melt & Pour Workshop: Experiment with a variety of colors, scents and techniques in this hands-on soap making workshop, a great choice for first-time soap makers
* Cold Process Soap Making: A beginner's workshop for making CP soap
* Emulsion 101: A beginner's class on making handmade creams and lotions
* Exfoliation 101: A beginner's class on making salt and sugar scrubs
* Body Butters & Lip Balms: A beginner's class on making water-free formulations including lip balms and body butters

If you'd like to learn about a subject you don't see here, please feel free to contact me about creating a custom class or workshop.

Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Look for an instructor with experience. Soap making and skin care formulation is an art that can only be taught with time and experimentation.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. How long has the instructor been formulating recipes, and how long have they been teaching classes or workshops?

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Private classes can be expensive because of the supplies, equipment, and time involved in the process. To make it more affordable, consider teaming up with friends or family to form a workshop instead! Splitting the cost of time, equipment, and supplies makes the process much more affordable.
