I was in Austin last week at a freinds wedding and I needed a hair cut the groom recommended Lupita Oliva.
I didn't expect to have a good professinal cut.

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Hair styling, wedding hair and makeup, and color corrections. Lucky me, I always get to fix someone else's mistakes, but at least I'm very good at it.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Go with who makes you feel comfortable. Go with someone who will listen to what you want, and will be honest with you if want you want isn't the best for you.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. How to tell the stylist what I want ! How to explain just what I want.So that I can get what I want !Not what they think I want, and have to pay some another stylist to fix it.. Less money less hair!!! OK so here it is when your stylist ask you a lot a questions very nicely (answerer them) . Don't say I don't know your the professional. Some stylist well say,OK and give you what they like . (I want to give you what you like). then help me help you find it .You will be happy every time ! It will be OK for some people to be unhappy with what they got , but not for you !!! You should get what you want and like.it ;-).. love Bella Oliva

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I put myself into my work. I want to create something beautiful something of value, that my clients will appreciate, and I am very proud of what I do.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Being able to express myself though my creativity. Making others look and feel beautiful is a very satisfying reward.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Most people come to me with an idea in their head of what they want. They ask me how can we make this look or this style happen. If it isn't detrimental to their hair, I can do anything!

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. Too many ! I love what I do when I say good bye to my guest I may not see them ever again. Out of town etc.. But I know I put my best and we had a good visit .Lives cross and it's a very good thing !

love, Bella Oliva

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. Well let’s see! It was long ago when I was three or four. My mother said, I knew what you wanted to be when you grew up. A hair dresser and fashion designer! I never needed a bang trim and I never heard my mom or anyone say my bangs look wrong jeje!!! So she did know what I wanted to be, and let me be just that!!! I have 4 kids of my own now yes, I still I love what do!!! I'm very good at it!!! Every day it is a different kind of art if you love it like I do.....It will away be a recent project! That’s what art is about.. Some times you put lot in it and get nothing .Sometime you don’t put to much and get so much more , but you keep doing it ! if you love what you do you will do what you love ;-) A art piece is never finish.... Love, Bella Oliva
