Are you looking for someone to take care of your loved ones just like you would? Then you have found them! My name is Mary, and I have been doing pet sitting and dog walking since I moved to Austin two years ago.
I have 4 years of veterinary technician and boarding experience, so if anything should go wrong, I have the knowledge to handle the situation. Also, if your pet is on regular medicine I am able to medicate with pills, insulin shots, etc.
I will accommodate your pets with what makes them comfortable; sometimes the parents leaving can be a scary thing for them.
Will travel to all parts of Austin. Pet sitting includes either daily visits or overnight stays. A lot of clients prefer me to stay and watch their house as well.
Are you going to be gone for just a day? Dog walking is also available as much as needed. So while you're away, choose Groovy Paws Pet sitting to take care of your little ones and love them like they were my own!

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. My experience in an animal hospital as a Veterinary Technician and as a Kennel Technician helps me to handle situations that could go wrong. The love i have for animal's is huge, I am willing to do whatever it takes to make them comfortable while your away.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. All the different pet's I get to meet! Each one is different in their own way and they all have so much love to give!
Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?
A. My favorite pet sitting job had to be this past Christmas. I was taking of "Bergen" for her family over the holiday's. The owner trusted me enough to allow me to bring Bergen with me on a little road trip to go back home so I could see my family as well. My entire family just fell in love with her, and still ask about her! She kept me company during the drive and was so happy the whole time.
Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.
A. One of my most recent jobs was during one of the few times it actually snowed in Austin! Got snowed in for the day with three hyper pup's. Got to play outside with them during their first experience in the snow! We had a blast! Took ton's of picture's for the parent's to see when they got home. They absolutely loved it! The client's were at ease while away to know that somebody was there to take care of their little one's during the nasty weather. Made me feel so special to be that person.
