Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Our most common types of jobs are small temporary signs, Electrical Signs such as Channel Letters or Cabinets, and Vehicle Wraps!

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Ask him several questions, anything from the material he uses, to references. These are key for a good professional job completion.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. How to wrap a vehicle! There is so much involved in wrapping a vehicle. The best way to learn, is to intern or work beside a seasoned graphic installer.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. I believe key elements in this business are measurements, in inches or in feet. Please have the size of the sign you are looking for, and or the make and model of the vehicle you are looking to get wrapped, or lettered.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. We stand out from the competition because we are professionals in our industry. We provide the best possible product for the least amount of money. We are a small business that does not have the overhead that many other larger companies have. Thus, we are able to provide the best prices, using the same materials such as 3M, Oracal, and Avery.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. The thing that I love most about my job is that it is not a job. It's more of a passion of mine that I love doing. I do not consider this a job, but a way to help others to start and continue growth of their small businesses. Every day is different, with a different project, and a different design! Very unique every day...

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. The questions that we receive most often is how much for a sign, vehicle wrap, or a graphic design.

There are several factors to determine these things, and we would love to educate you as a customer as to what they are so we can best meet your needs, and give you the best possible price.

To achieve that it's best to call our professional staff at Capital Signs so that we can ask you a few questions, to meet your needs in a quick professional manner!

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. I think the Tasty Bite 5 vehicle fleet wrap we did 2 months ago is one of the best experiences we have had. We wrapped 5 vehicles in 5 days. They used the vehicles for a 60 day campaign, and than we removed all 5 vehicle wraps in 2 days. Extremely happy customers!

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. We hope to educate our customers about the sign trade, and that cheaper does not always mean better.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I chose to get into my line of work after a gentleman was selling his business. I decided to take on the task myself to start it myself, instead of buying someone else's challenges.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. A recent job we are extremely proud of is a job for DiscountElectronics.com. We installed a state of the art banner system to advertise specials for DiscountElectronics.com

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. Yes, we do! We attend all the trade shows and workshops we can, and are in the process of getting the latest and greatest certifications so that we can provide the utmost professional service we can to our customers.

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. That is what is so fun about our trade. Every year if not every other year something new comes out. A new technique, a new product, and or a new machine! We try to stay on top of all of it so we can provide our customers with the best, so that they in turn can be on top of their competition as well!

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. Our most recent project is one we are doing this week! It is a set of channel letters for Steven Todd Salon. It will cost about $3,000 but the results will bring him more business than he will be able to handle! It will take us about 7 business days from receiving the deposit to installing the sign!

Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.

A. We try to simplify things as much as possible. But sometimes, depending on the size of things, and or content of a sign, will dictate weather or not it will be digitally printed or die cut. This will also determine pricing. Please call us so we can bid your job accordingly and give you the best price possible!

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. Research!!! You really need to research what you are getting into. Even though it may look simple to do at times, there is more to it than what the naked eye can see!

Q. Write your own question and answer it.

A. Do you love your job?

Yes!
