Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Less is more most of the time. White space helps direct the eyes of the client. Stick to 2 ... maybe 3 font styles so that your message has a professional look to it. Depending on your business don't be afraid to use colors that pop. Always consider the whole brand ... print, web etc. so that the look and feel convey's your style and message.
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. Are you serious about crafting and creating a business model that conveys an image of professional look, feels and message that really works for you ... to bring in the type of clients that you want? If so ... contact me.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I'm a visual artist and have done this work for over 20 years. I totally want you to be happy with what I create - yet I am not afraid to question your decisions OR offer options. I want us both to be happy and for your business to thrive.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I like most the creative process of working with people to come up with a win-win solution. A team effort always comes up with the best solution.
Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?
A. So you want to become a graphic designer? Your best tool is your eye ... not your brand of camera, computer or any amount of education although any of those can help ... but without an eye for color, design etc. Knowing your strengths are good. I'm not a wordsmith ... so I rely on others for that.
Q. What is your greatest strength?
A. I love working with people and providing a brand for their business that they love. I also enjoy clear communication to get that point of loving their brand. I know when I'm not a good fit and am able to point people to other professionals.
