- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Austin is an ever growing, dynamic city. We enjoy helping people enjoy the excitement of their new home or apartment without having to deal with the stress and hassle of the move.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We're really proud of all our work. Two recent moves we're really proud of are a residential and a commercial. 1) A short notice apartment move was requested and we were able to work the schedule to fit it in. The move included moving a cherished Baby Grand Piano down three flights of stairs and then up two to the new apartment. The final placement looked beautiful. There's a picture of it on our profile page. 2) We've done quite a bit of commercial moves and there's a recent one which included specialty antique items in one of the offices. Every item we move is given care, and these were no exception. The relief and pleasure the client voiced as the items were unveiled in the new office after transport is one of the things that makes this occupation rewarding.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always check to make sure the company is licensed and insured. It's not enough to just have the cheapest rates and quickest service- you want to be protected too! All household goods movers in Texas should be registered with the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles.
