FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is typically based upon how long it will take to complete the work. My rates are typically $50/hour, but every job is rated on its own merits and they are all different so sometimes rates are lower. Call me for a free consultaion and I we can easily figure out a win/win.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Talk on the phone to discuss the job. Possibly take a look at the job situation and specifics and give a reasonable estimate for the cost of the job. I can show examples of past work if needed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Well. I have a batchelors degree in business marketing, but that really has little to do with fixing your door or other household repairs you might need. I have been building, doing carpentry, and fixing things since i was a teenager. So i have lots of experience in carpentry, welding, and most building trades. However, i am not licensed in any of them. Some of my experience comes from projects that i completed for myself in the homes that I have lived in and my own business as a real estate investor. I have operated my business as an independant contractor since 2006.
