Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Private personal training sessions or group speed and agility sessions.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Find a trainer that fits with your personality since you'll be spending some time with. Find someone that you can get along with and that you'll be able to work with. Since you're making a change in your life, getting back into good health, it may take someone that is different from you, but can motivate you at times when you may not be able to motivate yourself. A client and trainer have to have the same desire for the outcome of the training sessions.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. If I were a client, I wish I had the confidence that I have as a trainer that there WILL BE positive changes, and it will be life changing at the outset of it. It takes a willingness to diligently put in the work to achieve what you want.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. The client should have knowledge of their health status, health problems, and they should have specific ideas of what they want. Then, we will put together a program specific for you that will accomplish those goals.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. They don't enjoy it as much as I do! My training sessions are specifically geared toward the goals of each client.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I love seeing the positive changes in the lives of my clients, even when they don't notice!

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. They ask what I can do for them...and I tell them exactly what they can expect from training sessions with me, the time frame that it will take to achieve their desired results, and how to maintain their results.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. I am passionate about what I do. I really DO want clients to be successful in achieving their goals. There is no other reason for me to be doing what I do.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. Personal training is a natural extension of what I have always done, and always wanted to do. I try to teach people something that is cool, that they will benefit immeasurably from in all aspects of their life. All of my experience as a dancer and the rehabilitation from my own injuries have contributed to my desire to help others.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. Clients who worked out for two months found that on vacation they had a great deal more energy than they had on previous vacations of the same nature. They were able to do more, without tiring, and enjoy more activities, and still have energy for dinner!

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. Yes, I am constantly expanding my knowledge base to improve the sessions with my clients.
