In 30 minutes, you will achieve better results than many hour-long sessions. It’s not how much time you put into your workout, it’s how much workout you put into your time.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Be ready to make a lifestyle change and be ready to continually be educated.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Full potential can not be reached alone, even for a trainer.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. The only information that someone should have before seeking me out is the understanding that their health and fitness are important.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Education, Experience and Time Consciousness
1. All trainers have a BS of Kinesiology Degree or a degree relevant to providing the most professional and accurate services to our clients.
2. All trainers have a unique blend of experiences and successes which makes Austin Simply Fit a place for ALL types of fitness demands and desires.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Helping others develop a healthy lifestyle, by educating clients on the realities of health and fitness. I like to cater to the 99% of the population who need exercise and want to enjoy life as opposed to the 1% who think that exercise should be top priority in their life.

A. How can I get a good workout in 30 minutes?

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. The best stories are always with a new client. All new or prospective clients are excited to find out how they can have an effective workout in only 30 minutes. It's usually about 12-15 minutes into the first session in which they say, "I know we have been working for longer than 30 minutes."

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. It is for everyone. Fitness doesn't discriminate.

Without your health, what do you have?

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I like to attract and maintain positive relationships in which others will receive a lifetime of benefits.

Q. What are your most common types of jobs?

A. Most of my clients understand the importance of their health, but may lack the desire or knowledge to further better it. Therefore, most of my clients seek general fitness and well being. However, their returns are far greater that what they are actually seeking.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. 11 pounds of lean mass added in 6 months. Consistently twice a week for 30 minutes.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. I participate in Continuing Education activities multiple times throughout the year and as often as opportunity allows.

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. People are always trying to reinvent the wheel, as to how and what exercises are most effective. Science will prevail. Muscles need a proper stimulus, proper nutrition, and proper recovery.

A. Pricing varies according to goals, which will determine the frequency of your workouts. Frequency and duration of commitment will affect the rate per session.

    I can't say enough good things about Mark Rogers and Austin Simply Fit!

    It is a great private gym with a personal flare where Mark has managed to create an energetic, fun and positive environment. He and his staff are very knowledgeable, encouraging, and patient. They explain each exercise thoroughly, with an emphasis on correct form to maximize results and prevent injuries.

    Mark developed a specialized program for me and while he doesn't let me slack off, he never pushes me past my abilities. I always feel like I got an incredible work out, after which I have energy, stamina, and a positive outlook! But the most important thing to me is the personal attention the trainers give and knowing that they always having your best interest at heart.

    Bottom line, this place rocks...whether you are big, little, young, old, never worked out before or training for an intense goal...it really doesn't matter...you can find results here.

    As someone who hates to workout but know it's necessary for my health and well being... Austin Simply Fit is "simply" put the best place for me. The 30 minute workout is ideal and just when I think I can't or don't want to do anything else it's over!! I know that may sound odd for some people but believe me when I say it is not an easy 30 minutes. I feel like I get as much, if not more done than when I've worked with a trainer for an hour in the past. Mark is great, really listens to what I say is going on with my body and works to help make me successful in my work outs.

    All of their trainers are awesome!! Been working out here for over a year now, and could not think of a better, more knowledgeable group of folks. David is my usual trainer, but Mark and Bonnie are a few of my other favs. You've got to check out this gym--stacked full of totally useful gear, but none too intimidating. ASF is my workout home. Love these guys!!

    As a certified personal trainer and ex-athlete I am not new to working out. At almost 8 months pregnant, however, I let myself slow down in my training and was feeling the effects. My first session with Mark Rogers was impressive and immediately effective. In just half an hour, he was able to take me through an appropriately intense yet controlled full body workout. He adjusted my positioning as needed and the channels of communication between trainer and trainee were always open. The feedback he asked from me allowed him to alter my positioning, my posture or my muscle engagement and identify how and when certain muscles should "fire". Just as important, his demeanor was motivating yet patient, stern yet encouraging. I can't wait for my subsequent work-outs with Mark and plan to work out under his supervision up to delivery date.

    I've been working out with Dave at ASF for a couple years now and have been happy with the progress. But more importantly, the vibe is so comfortable and supportive. Dave knows how to push without being that "Aggressive Scary Trainer Guy". He knows how to motivate you without making you feel incompetent or weak. He also does a great job of mixing up the exercises so that you can avoid trouble areas and/or enjoy the variety. Can't recommend Dave, Mark, or the studio highly enough!

    30 min?!! That's it??
    As going through this work out I was sure he must have extended the time b/c I was pushing every muscle to my max, and ready to be done. But he would not let me quite no matter how much "explaining" I would give.
    Mark has that ability to get you to work every muscle to your limit and then some to get the results you came to him for!!
    I have worked out for many years and have not seen the results Mark has helped me accomplish. I am very impressed by his techniques, knowledge, passion, and drive.

    Mark's workouts are EXACTLY what I wanted to find! No waiting for machines, no wondering how to do something for the best effect or how many to do of it or how to mix it up! His workouts are challenging but not discouraging, and the progress I have made since beginning a year ago is definitely encouraging. I am a 52-year-old woman with osteoporosis, so weight-bearing exercise is critical for me, and my medical reports since starting my workouts with Mark have either remained unchanged or in some areas actually improved. Mark is always professional, courteous, and attentive, and is always willing to talk about the mechanics of each exercise in the workout. Give him a try! He's AWESOME!
