A. Personal Training when done by people who have a deep passion for self improvement, can be a life changing experience for people. Finding trainers who are always vibrant and passionate when your with them is key to having the psychological encouragement needed to help you stay confident and motivated.
A. People often make the decision to get a personal trainer very quickly and in some cases on the spot when they get signed up with the gym. It's good that people act upon the under lying reminder they need to make a commitment to health. If you are going to make the financial and mental sacrifice to really make a good change in your life, make sure above all that the person you choose to coach you, is someone you "click" with. Get a consultation scheduled and have some prepared questions for them so you have a better understanding on what the experience will offer you.
A. Personality and passion is what makes the difference in this field. People want there trainer to be someone more than just the guy who kicks their butt three times a week! They want a coach, a motivator, someone who lives the lifestyle their promoting and is passionate about getting their clients there! Connecting with people makes all the difference, if they genuinely are motivated by you then it will motivate them to succeed!
A. Meeting people of all walks of life and backgrounds. It's true that with the more people you make connections with in life, the more you learn about yourself and the world. I learn just as much if not more from my clients than I teach them. It's awesome to be able to share that with others.
A. Probably the most common questions people ask me is, "how long did it take you to look the way you do?" They make comments like,"your diet must be perfect, you must never eat unhealthy!"
I tell people that the goal of fitness is to create a healthy life style that fits around your relaxing leisure time, and everyone's schedule can be worked around to get any body goal achieved. I have been working out for 14 years now, and with that level of commitment I have earned the aesthetics I desired to have. But with anything great achieved, it takes determination and dedication, diet is a big part of that process. But you don't have to have complete restriction about the "fun" food you crave, with an organized program you can award your self on your weekend night out and have that glass of wine and cheesecake. It's all about setting realistic goals.
A. I was fortunate enough to have been involved with fitness at a very early age. Going through many different types of career options I never left the gym or the lifestyle and realized my career had been right under my nose for quite sometime. So instead of training part time I began training full time and made a life out of it! Everyday I'm at work I am reminded why I made the decision I did.
