Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. As You Wish offers a build-your-own package, so you can get the most out of your photography budget. In addition, you contract us for services before the wedding, but pay for albums/prints after images are posted online. And, your friends'/family's purchases count toward your gallery credit. You can stretch your photography budget just a bit more.

In addition, As You Wish will work with you on some key elements of your wedding day to ensure a good flow of wedding-day events and spacial arrangement. We want to ensure a smooth day for your guests, your attendants, and especially for you! If you don't have a professional coordinator, this service is crucial. If you have a wedding planner, we will simply work with them to verify all these details.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. A friend was planning her wedding and asked me which photographer I used. I gave her all the information I had. She and her husband-to-be were both full-time students with full-time jobs and were paying for the entire wedding themselves. Later, she told me they were not going to have any photography at their wedding or reception because they could not afford anyone in their town.

I told her that I wasn't a pro, and had never photographed a wedding, but that I owned a decent camera and that something was better than nothing.

After engagement portraits, bridal portraits, mother/daughter portraits, an unexpected First Look moment, and other wedding photography, we were all impressed with the images.

Because of our humble beginnings, an affordable option has always been part of our offering to brides and grooms.
