FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A consultation is $50 for your dog's analysis, personal profile, and custom training regimen. From there each lesson is $75 and lasts up to 2 hours each. An average canine client will spend $200 for training. Canine clients who require more behavioral training or commands will average $350 for training for each dog.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start off with a consultation that is set in the canine's home. From here I create a full profile of your dog and save it for my records and it helps me take notes and track progress. This is the time I interact with your dog and explain to the owners what is needed from them. On our first lesson I start the dog off with the easier of the tasks to get them into the groove of training. Usually clicker or manners training. I give the dog some homework for the next week customized for the owner's convenience and by the next week we are ready to start on the most important half of the training, usually behavior modification. The trick is this time training is smooth because your dog has been in training for days and understands the games we play.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I retain my education through seminars via Association Professional Dog Trainers. My original education was attained at Starmark Academy where I earned my Dog Trainer certification and Canine Behavior Specialist certification.
