FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At time of booking, I do ask for a 25% deposit for the total price of the shoot (I.e. for a $200 shoot, I would ask for $50 up front) which A) guarantees my availability for their requested date/time (and also guarantees a complimentary reschedule date for up to 2 months out from their initial day of booking), and also B) protects me as a photographer in the off chance someone no calls/no shows to their shoot or needs to reschedule. I try to keep my pricing as fixed as I possibly can, but I’m always willing to work with clients on budget if there is ever an issue with payment. My turnaround time for finished/edited photos is about 4-5 business days, so I try to be as prompt as possible when sending back the finished gallery.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Regardless of the type of shoot, I always want to know the overall vibe/feeling you’re wanting to have captured when I take your photos prior to meeting- this allows me to ensure I go into the shoot knowing how to fulfill your exact request to give you what you want :) I will always be professional, courteous, and prompt in my responses as I want to make you feel as comfortable as possible throughout the entire process.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I absolutely love shooting people as my main medium, and specialize in portrait/headshot photography, family portraits, graduation photos, pet photography (another favorite medium), fitness photography, as well as couples shoots (which does include engagement, maternity, and pregnancy announcement photos). My goal is to help as many people as possible in capturing their special moments on camera.
