Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. It seemed to be Damage Control :-)
Someone "staged" the house for a client, (because anyone can do it, or I can do it myself! ) and then they call for help after losing $26000 because the house is not selling and it's been 100 days already!

If you want to do it yourself, that's fine. But at least get a Professional Consultation with a DIY Report. It will cost you maybe @200 at the most, not even close to $26000 (True story, I was there)

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. If you have to pay for the services, make sure you hire someone with credentials (eduacaion, associations etc), insurance and good testimonials. There's a certain skill and knowledge level when it comes to good Home Staging that differentiates Professionals from someone just doing it as a hobby and charging for it.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I do not watch the clock every minute and I will not leave the house until I'm completely satisfied. It is very important for me to have a good understaing relationship with my clients. They should know what to expect and know how important my expertise are when selling a house or saving money on a reDesign project. No one likes wasting money in todays economy, but we want our huses to feel welcoming and organized

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Love meeting all different personalities and working with different styles. It's challenging, rewarding and satisfying at the same time.

And off cousre, the creative side of being in this business is the best part of it!

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Is hiring a home stager expensive? Is it really worth it?

Staging costs far less than your first price reduction, should your home stay on the market for too long.
According to www.stagedhomes.com 91% of homes staged by an accredited professional sell in one month or less. So, if your staged home sells quickly, you could be saving yourself from a 3% price reduction to start of with.
