Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. I try to tell my prospective clients to find a photographer that they feel comfortable with and trust. You want to surround yourself with people you get along with on your wedding day, because they will be part of the memory too.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. I would want to know how much time and skill actually goes into photography on the back end of production. Our job does not end after we take the photograph. I would want to hire a photographer that is not only skilled at creating images, but who is also experienced in processing digital images and product production.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. I suggest that clients think about what style of photography you are looking for and what type of end product they want from their wedding.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I like to think that my work stands out based on composition and content. I pride myself of creating images that are lasting, not just your typical wedding photography.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Most customers want to know how I approach photographing a wedding. I approach weddings in the same way I approach all of my photographic work... searching for real moments in order to capture images that tell a story. While I am happy to do more traditional portraits, I tend to mostly blend into the scenery.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. Each wedding is so different, but I love being accepted into a family for the day. I really love the excitement leading up to when the bride and groom first see each other. This is always such a sweet moment.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. As with most services, you do get what you pay for. There are a lot of budget photographers out there, but in the end the quality shows.
