Everyone has a story; something that makes them interesting. Whether it's breaking national news, or a mom and pop shop that's been around for decades, I have a passion for telling these stories through a lens.
I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Photojournalism from Syracuse University in 2007. I currently live in Austin, Texas, and have freelanced for several individuals, organizations, and newspapers, including, but not limited to the Austin American Statesmen, Associated Press, San Antonio Express News, Houston Chronicle, and Dallas Morning News.
My portfolio is versatile, and includes personal stories, portraits, weddings, travel, families, events, news, and artistic expression. I find everyday life fascinating, and I try to capture it every time I see it.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Always look at the quality over quantity. If you hire a cheap photographer make sure that you are okay with their work. The last thing you want is to pay a lot of money for your wedding and not have the photos to remember everything.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. If someone is offering to let you have a cd of everything they shot, make sure that they edit it all, likely if they give you everything, they won't want to go through hundreds of photos to color correct them.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. Can I see your portfolio and other works? Have you shot a wedding like mine before?
