Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. Web graphics, logos, t shirt designs, Album design ( for musicians) those are just some of the common things i work on.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Choose me. I am very reasonable with pricing ( as i have a full time job) i also am very particular with my work. I take pride in my graphics, ensuring a great finished product.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Before I got into graphics I always was curious about what kind of programs people used to make the cool graphics I saw on websites, etc. Inside secrets would lessen my customer base, so no help here for secrets :)
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. Important info to have ready would be ( ideas, with very detailed description of what is desired, be very specific as it will help me produce exactly what you are looking for. Sizes and shapes, Even examples of things you have seen previously are very helpful)
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I have a very quick turnaround, and I am very particular about each product i put out there.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I am very passionate about art of all kinds. I get to be creative, which puts me in a very positive frame of mind.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. Usually regarding prices. I charge by the graphic. Depending on the complexity of said graphic and how much time it consumes is all taken into consideration when pricing is concerned.
Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. I wish customers would realize and appreciate how much work goes into graphic design. Copy and paste are both great tools but are only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to designing.
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. I am very good at what i do, so why not provide it as a service. good graphics are hard to find, and i can help you seek those out.
Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.
A. I recently developed a Album for a group named U4ik here in the DFW area, They were very pleased with the outcome. I feel like i have become a part of their success.
Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?
A. I am always looking up on new ideas. The internet is where i find out how to do little things that make the graphics i do stay with the times.
Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?
A. really, alot of movies and things are going into a 3-D direction. this is something i have been playing around with but not yet offering with my graphics. but hopefully soon.
Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.
A. My pricing system is really pretty basic. if the graphic is labor intensive the price will reflect that. and well if it is a very simple graphic the charge will be minimal.
Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?
A. Do alot of research. You also should have quite a bit of artistic ability. Put knowledge and creativity to work and you will have much better products.
