I am a professional pianist providing custom accompaniments and tracks for your audition, show, concert, worship service, or rehearsal. I sight read, improvise, arrange, and produce. I can play any style from classical to jazz, theater to worship music. Email a pdf of your music or lead sheet, tempos, performance preferences, form or style indications, and contact information. You will receive a price quote and upon payment received via paypal, Cheryl will email your song within 1 to 2 weeks.
I also perform live shows, teach workshops, give concerts at churches, schools, and house concerts. I can prepare worship music for women's retreats. I am the owner of Brenham Music Academy, and I am very involved in our local music community where I have worked at Blinn College as accompanist for eleven years. I currently teach privately and emphasize the importance of sight reading and improvisation.

Cheryl Amelang is, in a word, brilliant! I have worked with her over the past 10 years; she has been the accompanist for a performance group of which I co-direct. Not only can she superbly play anything placed in front of her but on most occasions has personalized it to my exact specifications and requirements. I have also been a working actor/singer for 25 years and I have never worked with a finer accompanist. To top it off, she is as sweet and good a person as you would ever want to meet!
