Sweet Sensations was the biggest hit at my daughters "out of town" wedding a few weeks ago! The table was adorable and so enticing for young and old alike. Everything was perfect! This is a well organized company that listens to exactly what you want. I recommend them for not only weddings but any type of function where you want to make an impression and thank those attending with some really Sweet Sensations!

It was such a treat working with Kim at Sweet Sensations Candy Buffets. Our company needed a candy buffet for a campus recruiting event, and Kim did a fabulous job. I worked with her directly in picking out candy and color options for our event. She was very helpful and knowledgeable during the entire process. Kim and her team are very creative and made our personalized candy buffet fabulous. If you are in the market for a candy buffet, look no further than Sweet Sensations. Our company will definitely be using Kim in the coming years for our many events. The students and professionals loved it!

Kim created a stunning candy buffet at my daughter's wedding in November. She was prompt in responding to my request and corresponded often to ensure that candy choices, table dressing and times would be pleasing to us. The result was a WOW! presentation and buffet that guests told us would be the standard by which they judge all future candy buffets.

She was so easy to work with and extremely helpful to our family and friends at the celebration. The candy buffet was a last minute idea on our part but you would never know it from Kim's final product.

Thanks, Kim. Your contribution to our evening is still the talk of the family!

Sweet Sensations Candy Buffets are not only tasty, they are beautiful. Kim's eye for creativity really shows in her buffets. She takes a client's favorite candy, colors, and theme and creates a amazing buffet that your guest will not only enjoy, but remember for years to come. One of her buffet's will be perfect for your next wedding, birthday, or any event!

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Weddings would be our largest client base but we have done corporate events as well.We just recently were a part of Ernst and Young Accounting firm's recruiting event for UT students at The W Hotel in Austin,TX.Anniversaries, birthdays and showers are also great events for candy buffets.

Q. Describe three recent jobs you've completed.

A. We recently did a dessert buffet for an intimate wedding at LaPaloma Event Center in Lakeway. It was a vintage Italian theme with soft pinks, brown and white. The table consisted of mini cupcakes, sixlets, chocolate raspberry tarts, cake pops and the groom's favorite: chocolate pecan covered donut holes!A vintage suitcase held the Chinese take out boxes and favor bags for the guest to fill.It was our first time to do a dessert table as opposed to a candy only buffet and we had a great time putting it all together. At Sweet Sensations we have the resources to make your vision of the perfect candy or dessert buffet become a reality!

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. I would want to know if the company has a contract.Contracts not only protect the company but the client as well and when everything is in writing it is something to refer back to should there be any questions or conflicts.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. We take time to get the details and visions of the event and then customize it.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Designing something different and creating a "WOW" factor.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Most clients of course want to know the price.Once we go over all that is included they see the value in having it done professionally as opposed to trying to do it yourself.Plus we set up,take down and supervise if needed so they can enjoy their day without worry.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. My favorite story is at one of the weddings we did a little boy fell off the stage the candy buffet was on and his bag of candy went all over the floor. He was so upset because he didn't think he could get another bag.Once we helped him pick out more candy( and helped him off the stage) the look on his face was so rewarding to us.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. After organizing weddings, parties and gala events for friends, family and organizations I belonged to I decided to get certified as a wedding & event planner. While doing a Valentine's Day wedding I suggested to the bride & groom to have a candy buffet as their guest favor.I had so much funny putting it together that I started investing in unique glass jars and accessories and decided to incorporate it as an additional service. It has now grown into a separate business.
