Voice Lessons with Kyli Wagner

Introduction: I am a recent graduate from Illinois Wesleyan University with a degree in music, focusing in voice. I have been teaching voice lessons during my summers at home for four years and will be continuing now throughout the year. I have training in the classical, musical theater, jazz and contemporary (pop, country, etc.) genres. I have taught from ages 5-18 at many different levels. Lessons also include basic music theory and ear training for vocalists. My teaching philosophy is that kids should take a huge part in what they want to sing and pieces they would like to work on. After all, singing should first and foremost be about having fun and giving your kids a chance to tap into their own feelings to find expression in a new and exciting way! I can work with kids on general technique and repertoire as well as help prepare for auditions and performances. I absolutely love what I do, and I hope I can get the chance to share it with you or your children.
