A. Our most common types of jobs are people who want to replace carpet with wood flooring or lamnate wood floors. We also install and sell a lot of carpet and tile as well.

A. You can not tax labor. Companies do not break out flooring estimates so they can tax the whole esitmate. This is illegal. Get a bid broken out in 3 parts. Materials, Labor, Tax.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. A customer does not need to know anything as we give a full presentation with samples for free. A customer should just look up our BBB rating which is an A and the fact that we are one of only two flooring companies listed as a member of the Dallas Chamber of Commerce.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. We have little to no overhead so we are the lowest priced flooring company in Texas. We have many years experience and have the best installers. We will drive anywhere and do almost anything to make sure our customers are 100% satisfied.

A. That I can help so many hardworking families save time and money. We offer bester products for cheaper prices than all other flooring companies.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. The #1 question is how are we so cheap on name brand products.

Answer: I don't have a 50,000 square foot showroom to pay for nor do i have a bunch of employees sitting around costing money. We automate everything and use the latest technology to market so our costs for the whole company per month are under $3,000.00 That means the average customer get charged only $15.00 for our overhead where as other companies have to charge $1,500 to $2,000 per customer to cover their overhead.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. Yes my favorite story is the fact the of all the companys in Texas to pick the Dallas Cowboys want us to do all their flooring! Yes we get to do the cheerleaders practice wood floors as well. :)

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. I wish customers knew how much other companies mark up products 40-60% and if they would just call our company we only mark up material 5-10%. Customers could save so much if they would just ask us for an estimate.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I was building large schools in California for 11 years. When I moved to Texas I saw a chance to put my expert construction and sales skills to good use. I now provide hundreds of Texans with brand name flooring for dirt cheap pricing. As I am an expert in the field and I have supplier accounts that offer me the best pricing.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. We are providing flooring for the Dallas Cowboys and refinishing the Dallas Cowboys Cheer leaders practice room. Texas ya-ll:)

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. The owner David Hill has 240 university credits or master degree and then some. He does't own a TV, nor has he ever been married and has no children. He reads 5 hours a day to be current on all aspects of the flooring industry.

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. The industry is looking at a 30% import tax on all products brought in and made in China. The majority of flooring products; wood flooring and laminate floors are made in China. The added cost will close a lot of flooring companies with too much overhead.

A. We do next day installs as most of our products are in stock. Carpet takes one day to install, wood flooring 2-3 days and tile 3 days.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. Don't sell flooring products or install them unless you put customer first. Customers should be your main focus not profit.

We dont have a huge fancy showroom. Customers want the product in there home at the best prices they don't care how it looks in a showroom. So we pass the savings onto the customer.
