Tav the DJ
Decked out in his trademark tux vest and jacket, Tav the DJ (Chris Sherwyn) brings the electro power, with a top 40 spin. He represents the fusion of high-energy electro with fun-loving house, and crowd-shaking mash-ups.
Over the years, Chris has continued to hone his craft, focusing on the crowd to discover that sound which makes them tap their feet, bob their heads, and really enjoy themselves.
Chris presently holds three residencies:
- The Londoner on Mondays, 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
- Sushi Axiom on Thursdays, 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
- Inwood Tavern on Fridays, 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
- Bull and Bear on Saturdays, 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
Chris believes that feedback is necessary in the continuing path to becoming a better DJ. Thus, all his sets are recorded (live and practice) and posted for public inspection. Please enjoy the tunes!
While Chris has consistently had a real love for music, a 2008 opportunity trip to the Winter Music Conference inflamed a passion and incited the creation of Tav the DJ. Since then, his energies have become focused on perfecting the art and science of playing records to make crowds move and truly make the room move!

A. Every DJ is different, the only way to get a good read on them is to listen to one of their gigs. Any DJ can make a pristine DEMO, a good DJ plays multiple gigs per week perfectly.
