FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Communication is key. Always assure that there are multiple ways that you can contact the provider and assure that they are easy to communicate with. There is nothing like working with a provider who does not understand you. Try to stray away from marketing firms who claim they are web designers. These type of companies usually build beautiful websites that do not work or cause future issues with code, etc. Their goal is usually to create websites that on one else can work on but them. Buyer beware. Also assure that the provider that you work with has excellent project management systems. Ask them about how they manage the project requirements, how they relay those requirements to developers, etc. The process is the most important. There may always be some issues with a project progression although it makes it much easier to deal with when there are clear communication processes within a system. This also will save you loads of time. You are a business owner. This is very important and your time should be spent running and growing your company not babysitting.
