Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: My work stands out from others that do the same thing as I do because not only am I very personable, but I strive to constantly seek new product and inspiration. Through different elements of design, you can strongly improve a space. I treat every space as its own special haven, for that owner to thrive in, making each project different and my personal goal is to exceed the clients’ needs and make them want to spend forever in their new surroundings. The thing that I like most about design is its ability to filter subjective pieces into spaces of their own; making each project unique. No one space should ever look like any other due to all of the lovely materials, finishes, fixtures we have to work with today. Some designers find particular finishes/ items they really like and use them all the time, I personally believe this to be a designer “no-no” if you will, we have thousands of resources at our fingertips; it’s absurd to think of using the same thing more than once, unless requested by the client, of course.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

In order to stay on top of the market’s latest trends, I receive all design publications, along with frequenting the internet, constantly staying in the know. New furniture, fabrics, lighting are always coming out and you have to stay on top of the news to know what’s out there and available to ensure the latest and greatest products for your clients. My commercial and hospitality experience have allowed me to build relationships with many vendors who keep me in the loop as well!

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

My advice for someone looking to hire a design professional is to meet with them and go with their gut instinct. If you feel as if the professional may not be as professional as they led you to believe, they probably are not. Be sure to check out their LinkedIn profile, see if they have been endorsed or have any reviews by clients. One profile can tell a lot about someone; but it can also be deceiving. Be sure to ask for photos from past projects.
