Introduction: I am a performing magician with over 20 years experience, specializing in close-up, walk-around and parlor style stage performance featuring original and stock tricks of illusion, sleight of hand and mentalism to entertain and mystify audiences as well as using specialized props such as silks, cards, coins, ropes and more. I have performed for a wide variety of audiences and venues ranging from home parties to corporate banquets and trade shows. I can perform in virtually eny type of environment, whether it be on the street, dinner engagements, restaurants and clubs, cocktail hours at catered events, grand opening celebrations, hospitality suites, weddings, festivals or fairs and private house parties. My performances are family friendly and suitable for all ages. I enjoy the interaction with people and making them smile in amazement at the magic routines that happen in front of their faces and many times in their own hands. Jack King - Magician I cannot say enough good things about him! He not only took on all of my Dallas Fort Worth parties, 14 of them, but he was all of the things I checked above, he was a true professional, in every sense of the word, such a gentleman and great with the kids, he has excellent work quality, I had him audition prior to hiring him and his magic is amazing, his responsiveness and punctuality are all top notch, he communicates well and he is always on time, and I don't recall him ever being late to any of the shows. Lastly, value, he was worth every penny, but he also donated his time for a lower rate which I appreciated for this charity that I sponsor through my entertainment company. He did the birthday parties for homeless children and it was a wonderful experience for him and the kids and parents. This is one of the most entertaining and affordable illusionists ever. He did walk around during cocktail hour at my son’s graduation party and he was absolutely amazing and very entertaining. The group was from age 2 to 62 and everyone was entertained. I would definitely hire him again.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based on type of show requested, length of show and travel distance. Shows typically run 45 minutes to 1 hour and cost around $200 for performances within the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and surrounding counties. My fee is negotiable and may be adjusted accordingly for special requests such as a shorter or longer performance, special requests requiring additional preparation or materials or for performances outside my local travel area.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked for a magic shop in the late 1990s in the West End area of Dallas. Have attended workshops and lectures featuring world class magicians Michael Ammar and Michael Finney. I am a current active member of the Dallas Magic Club (Society of American Magicians Assembly 13 and International Brotherhood of Magicians Ring 174).
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with a wide variety of clients ranging from parents holding a childs' birthday party to corporate events.
