- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
1.) Remember you always get what you pay for. So, if you are going to "pay" for someone else to clean your home, be sure that you hire a professional with good referrals and there is plenty in the budget to afford the quality that you are seeking. 2. )Ask the cleaning company if they use natural (non-chemical) products. Many times, people have misconceptions about the word "natural" or "environmentally safe". So, give natural cleaning products a chance: they are better than harsh, costly chemicals; less expensive, and more healthy to those living in your home. These ingredients are normally even edible. 3.) Communication is of utmost importance between the client and the person cleaning. Don't be afraid to ask for what you want. If you are not satisfied, do your best to tell the person and give them at least a second chance to complete the task you are requesting. Good, clear communication can solve many problems most of the time. 4.) Consider hiring a company as opposed to an individual. Many times the customer can become too familiar with the individual cleaning their home, whereas when you hire a cleaning company, it can be treated more like a business. So there can be less "hurt" feelings if the client/owner of the home has complaints because it will be treated as a business transaction.
