Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Here at Big City our most common types of jobs are basically loads and unloads. The unloading part of the move is always the simplest. Loading was a challenge when we first started but now its like playing a game and winning in the end!

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Our experience and length in the moving business is a factor in determining our quality and reputation. A professional mover in business for several years or decades likely knows the ropes and provides quality customer service. A new mover with little connection to the community may be trustworthy, but there is also a risk that the company has questionable business practices. A local mover with connections to the community or a reputable national mover is typically the safest option. Hope you choose us, we'll get you where you're going with no dents or scratches.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. The complaint history of a particular mover is another indicator to help you decide on a company. The U.S. Department of Transportation allows you to search moving companies to look for complaints and safety information. The site provides a safety rating, review date and number of complaints broken down by type or problem. Another way to look up complaints is to check with the Better Business Bureau. A complaint shouldn't immediately eliminate a potential mover. Look at the details of the complaint and the resolution. Q. What are you currently working on improving?

A. Currently as a business we're working on more marketing and promotions. We feel like we are to good at what we do to get only 10-15 job per week, so why not go out and improve our business by marketing on an everyday basis. When we get that mission accomplished then we'll be improved 1000%!
