Steve completed a multi-tasked job for me that included changing paint themes, finishing out a garage, and various accent pieces. He was extremely flexible, efficient, and professional, not to mention reasonably priced. I couldn't have gotten all of what I had to be done completed without his excellent advice and knowledge. Thanks!

A. Thirty years experience in Interior residential painting has taught me that "Mindfulness" is one of the most important qualities to have when providing professionalism to a customer. Attention to detail, promptness, and giving the client more than he pays for is always my intention on every project.
A. Working with several top rated Interior Designers from the Dallas Design District and Manheim Gallery gives me a competitive edge unmatched by most Paint Professionals. I have seen the best color schemes and can assist you in making your decorating dream a reality .
A. Ask them if they do the work or do they sub the job out to someone else and charge you a middleman fee?
A. Being an Artist, I have an eye for color. Being an expert with 30 years experience gives me unmatched quality and vision to assist my clients with professional decorator results. Also, if you notice, my competitors are mainly offering a wide array of services like flooring, tile, carpentry, etc. I offer painting, that is it. You get an Ace painter when you hire me, not some subcontractor's brother in law who claims he can paint. Why would you hire a handyman to do a specialized job when at no more cost you can hire an expert in his field?
A. I like to see "drab" turn to "fab" and the pleased look on my client's face when they see what just a few gallons of well-appointed paint can do to transform a decor.
A. The most common question is "how much do you charge to paint the walls of a room?"
Prices start at $100 for a guest size bedroom 10'x12, $150 for a master bedroom 12'x14, $300-$400 for a large entry with stairwell, $300 to $500 to do a texture and paint over wallpaper in a bathroom or kitchen. Large rooms with high ceilings are around $300. Slightly higher prices on rooms with ceilings higher than standard 8'.
Ceilings are about 50 cents a square foot and woodwork is about $1 a linear ft. ,Doors are $25.
I also offer expert touch up service for homes that are being made ready to rent or sell without repainting entirely. Prices range from $125 to $300 to do the whole house. This saves you a lot of money. Interior and exteriors all need touch ups on occasion. I can also fix cracks and match textures, revarnish front doors and do accent walls starting at $60.
I can do faux finishes in niches starting at $75. Or do powder baths like in the pictures shown for around $350.
Prices quoted are labor only. Paint is extra but typically a gallon of paint can cover a 12x16 room and that is at $25 a gallon. I prefer to use Lowes"Valspar" or Behr "premium plus" or Sherwin Williams 200 eggshell. These range from $23 to $30 per gallon.
A. Keep in mind that most General Contractors hire out the painting to under-qualified subcontractors. You end up paying them 50% as a middleman and they send out amateurs to do the painting. You are only as good as your least talented employee. Who do you want to do your painting, an amateur or an Ace with talent and experience for no more cost?
A. I have an Interior Decorator's degree from I.C.S. and have worked with the Custom Drapery Department of J.C. Penneys in assisting clients with choosing the perfect color choices to enhance their decors. I have also worked with many top Interior Designers from the Dallas area and have seen what works and what doesn't. Several local Designers actually call me to help them with color choices for their most discriminating clients.
A. A client called me and several other top painting companies to come out and give her an estimate. When I arrived, I noticed that her home was new and the paint was a good color scheme also. I asked her if she was wanting to change colors or why was she wanting to repaint over a brand new paint job in a million dollar house? Her reply was" well ,I am super picky and I just don't think that the builder's subs did a very good job." Four other top Painting companies gave her bids in excess of $8,500. I told her I could make it all look perfect for under a $1,000. and that she would be wasting $7,500 to repaint. She couldn't believe that I would not give her a bid to repaint over the entire house. I ended up fixing all the Amateur Painter's mistakes and the house looks perfect now. She was so happy and her husband was almost in tears for saving all that money. To finish off the project I threw in a faux finish on the powder bath walls and all the niches to give the house the finishing touch. They said no one else suggested what I did. I always try to give my clients' good advice and treat them like I would my own family or best friend. I think they appreciate that.
