I specialize in one-on-one and group personal training. Weight loss and nutritional counseling are important topics covered in my sessions. I have been a personal trainer since 1977 and have experience in marathon, triathlon and sport-specific training programs.

I also use plyometrics, yoga and boxing routines during my sessions. My personal experience includes a 3 sport athlete in high school and an All-Conference defensive end during 4 years of college football. After college, I began running 10K road races and then the 1978 Chicago Marathon, the 1979 Paris Marathon and the 1980 Athens, Greece Marathon. Then, I competed in the short-distance triathlons during the 1980s. I have continued competing into my 50s with the 2003 and 2004 Chicago Marathon, the 2005 Boston Marathon and the 2008 and 2009 Pump and Run event at the Arnold Classic in Columbus, Ohio.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I am a personal trainer that practices what he preaches. I "walk the walk" not just "talk the talk". I eat healthy and workout at least 5 days a week. My body fat is 8-9% at age 57. I make the workouts fun and always have a positive attitude. I never bring personal problems to my trainig session. All conversations are strictly confidential

A. I like helping people improve their health and well being. I enjoy seeing people reach their goals and improve their self-image.

A. How do I lose weight? Stay away from sugar and especially starchy carbohydrates. Do Not Drink regular or diet soft drinks. Exercise 5 times a week for at least 1 hour.
