Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Non-tradtional portraits and headshots using the cityscape as a background.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. To relax and look natural. Photos should look like the person and it is my job to capture that.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Everyone can look good in photos. One just has to relax and not try too hard, most of us look best being natural in natural settings.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. A good idea of what you want to do with the photos helps create the right image. If it is headshots for modeling or theatrical portfolios, that is a little different image than wanting a protrait for framing or posting on a social network site.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I try to make each picture create a memory, a digital snapshot of the moment. The image should tell a story to those viewing it.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Creating great images that people love to view.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. They ask how should they look, dress, or what makeup should they use? Typically, my answer is to try something on, look in the mirror and if you feel good about what you see, then that is how you should look and dress.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. That everyone deserves to have memories captured by photos. They should have a combination of those cell phone pix, some home images, and then some professional shots that really make them look great.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. People kept telling me that my photos looked better than those they were paying for. I have always taken photos of landscapes, nature, things and animals. It just seemed natural to capture people too.

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. Project (not most recent, but different) - corporate SuperBowl dinner party to photograph a Dallas Cowboys former star signing footballs for all the guests. The fun challenge was that he was quite large and tall and most guests were avarage sized. This was several hours at an upscale Addison restaurant and several hours editing for formating the images for printing.
