We had Santa at our event yesterday(Dec 10,2011) in Irving, TX and it was a huge success. Santa and his helpers arrived on time, and made all the children and adults feel extremely comfortable. They also brought candy canes for all the people that got photos taken with Santa and it was a nice treat. The helpers with him were a joy to speak to and were willing to be very accommodating to any special requests. I definitely will be booking this Santa again for our event next year.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Have something specific in mind, and if you don't, don't worry -- a real professional will be able to work with you and come up with ideas to help make your event extra special!
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. How accessible other Santa's are: We always hear about last year's Santa's being creepy, or unwilling to do what is asked. Customer's are able to email our Santa 24 hours a day, or can schedule a call to talk to him before he gets there. And, there's not much we won't do if asked -- you hired us, we're there to do anything from Santa-ing, to being door greeters, or even help with the dishes or put out fires (all of which has happened to us before!). We're there for you -- and we encourage questions and ideas before, during, and when scheduling next year's events!
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. Price, if it's firm or can be negotiated. To be honest, we rarely say no, and are willing to work with any budget. It's also good to know if the Santa is willing to do what you want (if you have specific ideas in mind) or can help you figure out how to make your visit special. And, especially working with children, a customer should ask what a Santa can do with fussy children, or the particular age group that they are being hired for. Oh, and it's important to ask if they are bi-lingual (Our Santa is fluent in German, which makes him more authentic then most) and if he knows the songs and stories you'd like to hear.
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. Time, number of adults and children, their ages, and activities you'd like Santa to do. If you're booking late (after December 1), be as flexible as you can with your time frame and date. We want to see everyone that contacts us, but we get full quickly, Don't let the difference of a 530 pm visit instead of a 630 pm visit ruin your event. Also, it's easier to plan a visit and figure out how much time is needed if you know who's going to be there and what you'd like Santa to do. But, if you have no idea when planning, please don't let that stop you. Our staff is very experienced at Santa-ing, and are experienced professional event planners!
