Hi. My name is Nick Schenk.
If you are interested in learning the game of tennis or just improving your game, but are intimidated by coaches at the country clubs in Dallas and aren't ready to invest the time and money to go to a tennis academy or sign up for a local league, then I can definitely help.
My credentials:
* Competed in USTA tennis for over 6 yrs at the Champ and Super Champ level.
* Played tennis competitively for the past 11 years.
* Have been taught by some of the best players and coaches in the Austin area and NEWKS Staff.
* Player for Texas Lutheran University in NCAA Division III.
* Captain and #1 player on high school team, competed in div 4A at regionals.
* Competed in both doubles and singles.
* Picked as alternate on the Newcombe's Tennis Academy touring team.
* Worked for National Junior Tennis League as an instructor for Austin's youth.
* Part-time tennis instructor at John Newcombe's Tennis Ranch in New Braunfels, TX
* Also worked as a pro for Scoop It Up Tennis Program in Austin, TX.
* Have previously taught tennis lessons in Austin, San Marcos and the San Antonio area for the past 7 years.
* Recently developed a website and program for my tennis clients and future clients to contact and interact with me.
I am able to assist you in learning tennis and offer these benefits:
* Individual or group lessons (discounts for large groups).
* I can coach all ages and love working with young children, having learned many coaching techniques from Austin area pros and the John Newcombe Tennis Ranch Staff.
* I have my own ball machine to help you learn. Also I rent out the ball machine to clients who want extra training.
* I can loan you a racket to get started if you don't have one.
* I can help you find a good deal on tennis equipment from my contacts.
* I can get your racket strung at very reasonable prices. (lower than any pro shop and even academy)
Prices for lessons are: $40/per hour or $30/per hour if you drive to my location. Prices however are negotiable if reasonable.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I have played tennis for over 10 years, and have played at the collegiate level. I know what it takes to get to the next level through my experiences, working with juniors, adults, and fellow pros. I am young, fun, and eager to work with anyone and help them improve their game or even get a good workout at a reasonable price.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. Teaching tennis is one of my passions. I really enjoy the satisfaction that my students get when they learn a specific shot, advance to the next level or win a match because it makes me feel good knowing that I was apart of that achievement.
