I had a Velvet Sectional cleaned by a previous technician (Mike, Fat City Clean) on this site and it was destroyed. It was cleaned with a harsh solution that left a white film and dust on the sectional. The luster of the sectional was also destroyed, it no longer looked like velvet or chocolate. Before the technician left, he assured us the color and luster would return once it dried-it did not. I was contacted by Rick with Dallas Home Improvement within hours to assess the damage from the previous technician. I provided before and after pictures of the sectional for him to assess the damage from the previous technician. He provided best and worst-case scenarios based on his experience, knowledge, and expertise. Rick explained that Velvet is considered a luxury material that is supposed to be cleaned with a specific method. He scheduled the service call within 24 hours. Rick arrived promptly and was able to clean and remove the residue and stains that were left from the previous debauchery. I honestly thought there was no hope for the sectional. I feared I would have to replace the sectional or at the very least have it reupholstered. Rick assured me he would do his very best to resolve the issue and he did. He took his time to restore my sectional back to its original luster, I can’t thank him enough. He was extremely professional and provided informative commentary on future cleanings. Dallas Home Improvement FAR EXCEEDED my expectations.
