A. Most common orders are Baby Showers and Birthdays!
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. My advice would be is to be creative! Have fun when you order! Know that your cake will be great and cared about when ordering from The Kake Chick.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. If I was a customer, I wish I would know the hours of work and detail that goes into each and every thing we make and appreciate the art of it.
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. Be prepared to schedule an appointment, since we are a private bakery. We dedicate our time to each customer and would do the same for you.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. The Kake Chick Bakery stands out from other bakeries because we care about every single cake, cookie or cupcake that leaves our shop! We are a small family owned bakery and do not commercialize anything! We make it special just for you.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. The most I like about my job is seeing the look on my customers faces when they pick up thier orders. It always exceeds thier expectations!
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. The question I get asked the most is about fondant. Most customers say they don't like fondant. The Kake Chick Bakery specializes in making all elements of a cake edible, and taste good! No tacky or dangerous plastics are used on our cakes.
Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?
A. My favorite story is when I delivered a cake to a customer and she started screaming and juming up and down from excitement and joy! It was great seeing her appreciate our hard work just for her!
Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. I wish my customers knew how much love I put into all my orders. Since this is family owned we care very much about your satisfaction.
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. I began as a hobbie and unlocked a talent I did not know I had! Im so glad I did though!
Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.
A. I did a Sweet 16 cake that was 6 tiers tall! Edible sugar stars that sparkled, Beautiful delicate Edible butterflys cascading down the cake.
Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?
A. I am constantly educating myself in the cake world, learning new techniques.

A. Pricing all depends on the amount of servings, and work involved. I do have a 45 serving minimum, but have made orders as small as 30 servings.
