Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. The most common request for service is fixing a broken screen. We all love our iPhones, but the screen is made out of glass and when they are dropped they do break.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. When looking for someone to work on your iPhone make sure that they use OEM (original) parts. This is very important!
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. Ask how long the repair will take. If any repair takes more than two hours then you need to look for another vendor.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. Second Chance Phones stands out because we have been working on iPhones for years and we only use top of the line AAA parts.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I like meeting people and making people happy. I see busted iPhones every day and when I make them look as good as new it makes me smile just to see their reaction.
Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?
A. My favorite story is when a fireman brought in his iPhone 4 that had been run over by a fire truck! It was literally held together by packing tape and the frame was warped. After a little time with Second Chance Phones, the fireman's iPhone 4 worked perfectly! It really made his day and he was very surprised that we got the phone back to almost brand new.
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. I originally started working on iPhones because I had the original iPhone 2G and of course broke it! While looking around to see who could fix it the idea hit me...why don't I learn how to fix it!
Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.
A. My most recent job came when I went to a local cheerleading gym and set up a table to fix any iPhones that any cheerleader or parent had that was broken. It was a real hit and I will do it again---soon!
