Question and answer
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Make sure they have experience. It is very easy to hire someone right out of college or design school but often lack of experience can really cost you in the long run. Time is money. Every client deserves a designer that really listens to their needs, one who is fast and efficient and incredibly accurate and detail oriented.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Graphic design is like any design business. It is trendy and changes often. Just make sure your designs reflect your company, the message it is trying to convey and is current as far as styles, colors and general design trends. It doesn't have to be cutting edge (unless your company markets to that demo) to be effective but it does have to look good. It also needs to change every few years to stay current. Listen to your designer's suggestions. They are the experts but you are paying which is also important and one many designers forget. It's a balance. One that is very important to achieve your goals. Make sure your designer can deliver modern, current design that ALSO meets your desires and needs.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. You should find out the experience level of the designer, determine their interest and understanding of your business and its needs, how do they deliver on deadline and budget and get an idea of the estimated time or costs involved in the project.

I worked with Dana at Team Gold several years ago, and have never met a more qualified graphic designer. She recently did some personal work for me, and did an amazing job. I will use her again. She's great!

Dana has been great to work with over the last few years. When we moved our office to Flower Mound - we wanted to work with someone local, who was flexible, responsive, and who did great work. Dana fits all of those. She has been a pleasure to work with and we look to our continued relationship with Dana for many years to come.
