About Decorating Spaces LLC

Decorating Spaces specializes in interior redesign, color with no regrets, home staging, seasonal decor, and consultations. Priscilla Braswell, manager and decorator, is certified in redesign and color and is a HSE (Home Staging Expert).

Whether your project is decorating, remodeling or staging, we start with what you have first, but offer an itemized wishlist of items for purchase. The client can choose which items to purchase; all costs are included on this wishlist. No suprise bills! With this tool, the client determines the budget.

Incorporating the perfect colors and the perfect placement of your pieces (furniture and accessories) creates a space that reflects you or, when selling, displays your listing memorably and professionally. For vacant staging projects, we have our own inventory to keep your costs low and the process simple.

We also have a team of experts to complete any of your projects. To name a few areas: specialty finishes, paint, flooring, sheetrock repair, plumbing, window treatments, electrical, and custom upholstery.

We'd love to have the opportunity to work with you!

    I've had the pleasure of working with Priscilla as the decorator of my home.
    Priscilla is professional and personable. She is easy to work with - never pushy. Her style is one of collaboration.
    Her prices are reasonable and she works within your budget.
    I would definitely recommend Priscilla for any of your decorating needs.

    I have worked with Priscilla from small scale projects to large scale projects that involved small construction to the finishing touches of each room. She has a good eye for color. I like the fact she tries to work in the client's decor where fitting, and listens to their decorating dilemma offering options within budget. The end result is fresh representing the client's lifestyle and functional needs.

    Priscilla with Decorating Spaces is awesome! She recently decorated our master bathroom after a complete remodel. She listened to what we wanted, made great suggestions and was very aware of the budget. We were thrilled with the outcome. Highly recommend!!!

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Color With No Regrets Consultations {selection of wall colors}
Interior Redesign {purchase of artwork, accessories, furniture placement, furniture purchase, window treatments}
Remodeling {bathrooms, kitchens - floors, cabinets, showers}

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. I love it when my clients are educated. I love it when they've called other decorators and compare my business to other businesses like mine. I want my future clients to feel comfortable about their choices. The more they know, the more they'll be confident in their choices. I would advise them to look for a talented and highly recommended decorator that will listen to them to create a space that reflects them, the homeowner or business owner, instead of a space that reflects the decorator.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I value what's valuable to my client. For example, color combinations that are considered out-dated by the "experts" may make a client comfortable and feel at home, so I value their feelings and help the client create an updated space while keeping the feeling they desire.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I really get excited and inspired when I've created a space within a client's budget and exceeded their expectations!

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. When sharing what they like, they ask, "Is this wrong?" People are afraid of being made fun of or criticized by what they like. There is no right or wrong. Using the proper colors and placment of the items, their space will make sense and feel right.
