Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. When you are hiring an attorney for your family law case, whether it is divorce, adoption, custody, enforcement or another type of case, be sure to be completely honest about all of the facts of the case so that your attorney can give the best advice possible that is specific to your unique situation.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. The most important thing to know about working with a divorce, adoption or custody attorney is that you control the case to reach a successful outcome. Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. We are "solutionists"! It is our genuine desire to help our clients reach real solutions! We listen carefully to what our clients want, and we help them develop a plan they like so that we can move forward together. When we can work closely to help our clients achieve the results they hope for, we are absolutely thrilled; nothing beats that feeling of accomplishment. Let's face it, change is never fun, but our clients are empowered to be a part of the process. We know that anyone can come up with more problems and more reasons why something won't work; our job is to come up with solutions so that the future is a brighter one for our clients!
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. Clients are always asking what the judge will do. Truthfully, each case is unique and each set of facts is unique. We can tell you what a particular judge might do, or what has been done in the past. We can stand firm with you to make sure you get the best possible result.
Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?
A. We always like a happy ending, so our favorite stories are when families are able to work things out with a minimum of arguing. We like to see healthy, happy children with both parents working together as parents. And we LOVE Adoptions!
Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?
A. All our attorneys and legal staff complete at least twice the required number of hours each year. Our attorneys are each in the Bar College, which means they take a minimum of 30 hours per year in continuing education.
Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?
A. The best thing that has happened to the legal profession is the advent of the Internet. Our clients are better informed and everyone is more accessible. We have installed a client portal so that you can watch the progress of your case in real time and communicate directly with your team.
Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.
A. Each client is a unique individual with unique circumstances. While we are more than happy to provide an estimated standard price for the services we anticipate will be needed, we truly prefer to meet with each prospective new client and to develop a pricing structure to fit the circumstances. We offer the best possible service in the most cost effective manner. Our individual evaluation of your case helps us to achieve results while helping you stay within your budget. We accept most legal plans and offer special pricing for our military service members and first responders as well as other incentive packages.
Q. What is your greatest strength?
A. Our strength is our team. We have a team of attorneys who work together to help you solve your legal issues. Our highly trained lawyers and legal staff stand ready to assist you from the smallest case to the most complex.
Q. What are you currently working on improving?
A. Our team is constantly striving to do a better job of communicating, of helping our clients navigate the legal system and of providing each client with a specific, attainable plan for moving forward into the future. We get feedback and if our service isn't awesome, we immediately attack any problems and conquer them! Our motto is borrowed from a great horseman, "Good, better, best; never let it rest; make your good better and your better best!" Each client and each case is totally different; our approach has to be as unique as our clients. Sure it takes more time, but we refuse to settle for less than giving it our all!
