Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. Tutoring positions are the most common type of jobs in our organization and field.

A. Compare your options. Most tutoring agencies overcharge for private tutoring, and won't come to your house to tutor the student. Who the tutor is also makes a big difference in the way the student absorbs information. Evaluate the type of experience and relationship with the tutor you want the student to have.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. The key to our success with young tutors is not just their intelligence but their very enthusiasm and youth. They are not trained to have the personalities they possess, or to be nice and polite. They are simply instructed to organize sessions and material. The best part about our organization is the great attitude the tutors carry on their own which allows us to help everybody in a genuine way.
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. They should be well aware of weaknesses they have in the subject areas that they need help with. They should also have material that they would like to use on hand for the tutor's review and assessment.

A. Our work is one of a kind because we are are family-oriented and treat each student as a unique individual. We do not have rigid agendas and restrictions when it comes to tutoring. We want to offer tutoring at affordable rates for ALL families.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I like meeting all of the people from the area who contact us in search of someone for help. We enjoy building relationships with the people in the local schools, whether they decide to use our services or not. There is nothing more satisfying however, than to be thanked for assisting someone who was struggling. When they are able to get out of that rut, they are able to accomplish so much and feel great about themselves!
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. "How do I know these services will actually work?"

It was refreshing to see her growth and we were happy to have made that impact on her life so she could continue on with law school.
Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. I wish customers knew that tutoring is a gift that not everyone can perform well. It takes a very special person to deliver information in a way that is understandable for the student and also gives them confidence.

A. I've tutored in the past and I very much enjoyed it. I just wanted to help out in this arena and ended up enjoying it so much that I became more and more involved.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?
A. I would suggest starting off by concentrating on student's needs. Not just what they need help on, but the kind of services that students yearn for. Be professional and concentrate on the customer.
Q. Write your own question and answer it.
A. What is the biggest struggle working in this business?
Staying true to what the customer needs and what the tutor needs. You must have a good balance and accommodate both parties. Our organization leaves a lot of flexibility for both sides and therefore it's important that we are fair in controlling what goes on between the three of us!
