I was lucky enough to have Emily assist my daughter with her wedding. She did a fantastic job and because of her I actually was happy sad even though I was losing my "baby girl". Probably made me feel about the best that anyone could do for a Father's first wedding and for his oldest daughter (first born and all). And Emily will work from start to finish, focused every minute on the wedding and reception, never giving herself a moments rest. I had to literally drag her onto the dance floor to get her to take even a small break for herself.

You have a excellent organizational skills but even more important are is your ability to work with everyone in a calm, loving, but firm manner and that is what is required in a wedding venue! Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Speak with any Wedding Planner you are considering hiring on the phone - meeting with him/her is even better. You will be spending a lot of time with each other so it is important your personalities mesh well.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Please remember that most venues assign a "wedding coordinator" to each event. It is important to remember that that person will not be the best event coordinator for you. Their ultimate goal is to make sure they fulfill their contract - not to make your day perfect. Emily James Events is forever the Bride and Groom's advocate and will do whatever it takes to make your event "effortlessly perfect!"
